My name is Hiroshi Miyazawa. I am Deputy Director of Institute of Tokyo Environmental Allergy (ITEA Inc.).
Since our company's inception, I had been providing guidance on allergen purification, labeling methods for antibodies, and construction of ELISA measurement systems. Due to this relationship, I have been in my current position since April 2022.
I believe in "If something doesn't exist, let's make it", "Everything must be tested by yourself", and "The real work begins when you reach a dead end". Nothing cool about it, but I believe that accumulating small achievements is the only way to reach the truth.
Our company specializes in the allergy field and aims to be the go-to company for our clients as the only one of its kind.
ITEA has three main departments – Allergen Analysis Dept., Reagent Development Dept., and R&D Dept. – and I will introduce them briefly.
First of all, the Allergen Analysis Dept. performs tests to evaluate allergen reduction and investigate acaricidal effects, etc. Since the content of requests varies widely, we will propose an appropriate testing method in consultation with you and develop a custom-made approach to your needs.
The Reagent Development Dept. sells various allergen extracts, e.g., dust mite, pollen, mold, pet, and allergen measurement kits, and antibody reagents. We also respond to requests for custom-made products as much as possible. We plan to expand our lineup to include purified allergens in the future.
In our R&D Dept., we are aiming to establish an evaluation method for next-generation allergen reduction. For example, we are developing an allergen assessment method using PCR, as well as more practical testing methods using floor dust or pollen, etc.
The members of our staff have accumulated expertise, technical skills, and abundant experience, and we are confident that we will be able to respond to your requests. Please consult us about your allergy-related needs.
